Stefana Laurentia Ghita, Esq.

Ms. Stefana Laurentia Ghita started her legal career in New York during her third year of Law School working with CUNY Legal Clinic and with the Guardian and Fiduciary Services of the Office of Court Administration in the Appellate Division - First Judicial Department, New York. After obtaining her JD she continued working with CUNY Legal Clinic on guardianship, family law, immigration, probate and trusts and estates.

Ms. Ghita moved to Las Vegas in 2010 and, in 2011, became an Emeritus Attorney with the State Bar of Nevada, working pro-bono for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She received the 2014 Ask-A-Lawyer Community Commitment Award for her work with the Family Law Center and the Civil Law Center.

Ms. Ghita work at the Family Court involved divorce, custody, adoption, guardianship and judgment domestication. Her work with the Civil Law Center oriented towards landlord – tenant dispute resolution, small claims and other civil matters.

Ms. Ghita is a registered attorney with the Executive Office for Immigration Review of the United States Department of Justice. She represents clients in front of Immigration Court as well as at the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Ms. Ghita is an active member of the American Bar Association, of the Center for Law and Biosciences and of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
